Engadgets article Nintendo is to introduce an animated animal-crossing feature to its Nintendo 3D games on Monday, the company announced.
The feature will be included in Animal Crossing, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Animal Farm, Animal Rescue League, Animal Party, Animal Tower, Animal World, Animal Style, and Animal Friends.
This feature, dubbed the “animal crossing mode,” is a new addition to the Animal Crossing series, and will allow players to capture, transport, and raise animals from the game world.
The new feature will allow for animal-to-animal and animal-friend interactions, as well as interactions with other players, such as when a villager or player makes a conversation with a pet.
The Animal Crossing game series features more than 150 million registered users worldwide, including nearly three million Nintendo 3ds owners, according to the company.
The addition of the feature will bring the number of registered Nintendo 3Ds to over three million, which represents roughly 5 percent of the worldwide 3DS market, according the company’s website.
This is the third feature to be added to the 3DS library in the past year.
Last year, Animal Smash, a Nintendo 3-D mode for Mario Kart 8, was added to Animal Crossing.
This year’s Animal Crossing 3DS will also feature a new 3D feature called the “Animal Crossing: New Leaf” mode.
The Nintendo 3G/DSi game console also includes the Animal Style mode, a new mode for Nintendo 3DCam and the Animal Tower mode, which allows players to create their own 3D environment.
