Anime eyes are on this weekend, so I’ll be heading to the local Anime Corner in Toronto to get some of the latest anime to check out.
This weekend’s lineup includes:Kamisama Kiss: Anno Domini-inspired drama starring Saki Moriyama, Mina Satou, Yuuka Ishida and Naoko Watanabe.
Akiyama’s The Heroic Legend of Arslan: Legend of the Seven Seas anime, which is being produced by Satelight.
I’m really excited to see this one, and I’m looking forward to watching it this weekend.
The Heroic Legacy of Arshin: The Story of Ars Lavin.
I got a chance to see the opening trailer for this one this weekend at Anime Corner Toronto.
This is one of the new entries into the genre that was previously not available to Canadians.
I’m sure that there are a lot of anime fans out there who will be eager to get their hands on this new entry.
I’d recommend you check out the trailer for the first episode of the series.
Aoki-san: I Am Alive: Saki’s original live-action drama from the acclaimed studio Aoki-San.
Aoi has been on a tear this season, bringing us some of our favourite anime and manga in an all-star cast.
I love watching these guys, and this new series looks to continue the trend.
My Hero Academia: I’m a Hero!
I love watching the live-animated versions of the anime from this studio, and the animation looks fantastic.
I can’t wait to see what the next episode will be like.
Himegoto-san no Rondo: An adaptation of the manga by Kazuo Uchikoshi that I enjoyed.
It’s one of my favourite manga series.
Kawashima Masamune and Yurikuma Yuuki’s The Great Wall: It was originally planned as a movie, but this series was filmed for television and then released on home video in 2018.
The show is now available on DVD, and it’s also available on Amazon Prime.
I would definitely recommend you watch this series if you haven’t already.
